The Story Behind Solid Oak Farms - Kiko Breeders Since Day One.
By accident we got into breeding Kiko goats. We were looking to buy a "couple " of goats for our farm. We did a search for nearby goat farms and found Sunny Gale Farms in Greenville, FL. I contacted Mr. George Blevins and set up a time to come look.... We walked away buying two before we knew what a Kiko was and called back before we picked them up to buy 1 more after researching about the Kiko breed. Mr. George and Mrs. Gale were so informative and kind to us. We hope we can return the favor to anyone getting into Kiko goats.
The end of our first year, we had 30+ goats on the farm and expanding. So is it addicting? a simple yes.
We have been fortunate to have help and advice from surrounding farms. I'd like to thank Ashfield Farms, S&R Triple Bar Kikos, Spring Acres Farm, Wildflower Acres Farm and of course Sunny Gale Farms for helping to get us on our way.
We are also members of National Kiko Registry (NKR) and South Eastern Kiko Goat Association (SEKGA).
